Something creative I have done in quite a while is play with photoshop... I did this the other day in response to a friends poem. It's a rough draft, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I go from thinking it's funny to stupid and back again.

Straight Lines For States
Visit my friend Eric's blog!
I designed his first (of many) album cover :)
He's decided to write about his musical experience and share his thoughtful and creative ideas about making music, playing music, and having a life filled with... well, music. Drop by and say hi!

Sea Blocks
Something new I've been playing with. Just trying to find the right combination of images next to each other, which is harder than it looks, at least for me.
In other news...
In other news...
I find out if I get to keep my job or not in a couple of weeks. Things are a little overwhelming right now and it makes me feel like my life is a fart. All I want to do is go outside and take pictures, damn it! And I do. And then I want to do it all over again. I don't know I could handle being unemployed again like I was before - so I'm hoping something good will happen.

New Geometric Happenings
I really enjoy recycling old film photos that I don't share or use online, and have been working on three different designs. They're all from the same photo, though I may eventually go back and remake a few with a different image.
Every technique I used involved reorganizing one image into others like a puzzle.

New Design for Etsy
I'm really proud of this small, geometric, graphic design collection I made for my Etsy shop. It definitely reveals more to my slight obsession of elements and nature. I may eventually add more to the collection, but for now I don't want to over do it. All the images are made from my own film photographs so they're still raw, but refashioned. Clicking any image will take you to etsy.

Many times I have photographs that I don't know what to do with and are not very interesting, so being able to reuse them in this way makes me pretty happy. Does anyone else feel this way about photographs, fabric, drawings or other art?
p.s. I'm on vacation next week and have an excellent line up of guest posts from blogs I like to read. Thanks in advance to all the bloggers who took the extra time to make a guest post for me! I really appreciate it.

Etsy Banner and Edited Photos
I've been trying to play around more with design to give a little somethin' somethin' to some images. I began with a new Etsy banner design and like the color palate and idea so much, I decided to try and make into a print which then inspired me to try other things.

What do you think? I have Photoshop version 6.0 (very, very outdated) so I'm pretty limited with what I can do.
