I was in San Jose for the partial solar eclipse last Sunday. I wish I had planned ahead do to do some photographing, but it didn't really come to my attention until the day of. If I had the time, I would have called a bunch of people together and taken their picture in the strange lighting of the evening. Instead, I ran outside with a box and a hole in it to see what I could of the eclipse and took pictures of Nick. I particularly like the image of the box on Nick's head.

Have any of you checked out the awesome pictures online people have taken of the eclipse? They're pretty nice. Next time we'll see one in my corner of the world is in 2017 :(
